Note: Using TPS on an OSX device is not supported by TrackMan Support, all information below is a workaround that may provide the option to use Windows/TPS on your OSX device.
To use the TPS software on a Mac, you can either run Microsoft Windows on a BootCamp parted disk, or as a virtual machine. See the Apple instructions Boot Camp for how to install BootCamp.
Our TPS Software only runs on Windows 7,8,8.1 and 10. We have tested Apple products but are limited in features because our TPS software does not run on OS X (Apple’s Operating System). There are ways around this, the most common and easiest is setting your computer up with BootCamp and running Windows7, 8, 8.1, or 10. If you are not familiar with BootCamp below is a link to help you understand this feature better, it is basically cutting your hard drive in half and at the time of start-up you choose to run OS X or Windows (which runs TPS). http://www.apple.com/support/bootcamp/
Another option for Apple computer's is running VMWare Fusion, attached will go into more details regarding VMWare. Please note we have not tested nor recommend running external wired cameras (internal and iOS external camera are okay) with VMWare as the system is limited on computer resources. We do not use Parallels (VMWare’s competitor) is because we have found some software driver issues when connecting our product.
Should you want to run TrackMan Simulator Software we only recommend/test on a Windows machines due to dedicated graphics card demand.
