The TrackMan Web-portal provides several out-of-the box reports to help your team visualize and analyze player performance.
Reports, roles and access
Reports are accessible to various user roles within your organization (read this FAQ to learn more about user roles)
- Coaches, Analysts and Scouts: These user roles can access reports with data on any player on your organization's player list and filter reports by player and/or sessions. If a player has played in front of multiple TrackMan B1 systems owned by various organizations (for example a college team and a private facility) then the college team can only see the data tracked by the college's B1 system and vice versa for the facility.
- Players: Players can view reports only for their own data. To learn more about how granting players access to their data, see "Setup player access to their own data" in this FAQ.
The TrackMan Portable system provides players and coached with a player handout report. A coach/analyst can see report data for all players in their team whereas a player can only see =data for themselves:
- Player handout reports: Provides a 1-page snapshot summary the performance for a single session and player. Select/search for the player and/or a date range to see players tracked during that date range. Mouse-over a point to see all the underlying data and/or click on a pitch or hit type to only display report for that type. Layout is optimized to fit on a single page and you can print and/or download a PDF version to handout to the player or stakeholders (on a Chrome browser you must select "more options" and "enable background images" to achieve the below result).
Download basic CSV file
Using the above reports you can download a basic CSV data file that will contain only the data visible in a given chart.
To download the basic CSV file, mouse-over a chart and tap on the "..." action. This brings up a dialog for you - select "Export data" and select the desired formal (XLS or CSV) to download a copy of the data you see on the report:
The CSV file will only contain the data used in the chart: Mouse-over on a ball to view all the underlying data.
Download advanced/full CSV file
The contents of the basic CSV export mentioned above is different than the full TrackMan data-set. The full TrackMan data-set is available when you purchase the optional TrackMan data-access package - contact your sales representative for pricing.
The full TrackMan data set is similar to what you receive when you use the TrackMan stadium (game) product: It includes additional ball tracking measurements (trajectory parameters and much more), additional player meta data such as playerIDs (useful to map data between games and practice), pitchIDs and timestamps. This FAQ provides additional detail about data elements in the full TrackMan data-set: Radar Measurement Glossary of Terms
You access the full data-set the same as as for your stadium system: At time of this FAQ (Q4 2020) all post-session data for game and practice is accessed via the TrackMan FTP server using a unique login provided to your organization. If you do not know your FTP login credentials, please contact the individual in your organization who is managing your TrackMan stadium system or contact your TracKman sales representative.
We also provide APIs to access certain additional data from your TrackMan system. Please read this FAQ for more details: Trackman Data API Introduction for Stadium v3 and Portable B1
